GLASGOW ART FAIR
Thanks to everyone who visited me at Reveal Art Fair 2023 in Glasgow, in May… especially those who stopped to chat and bought my work and shared why a certain painting had an immediate connection with them.
i have been drawing and painting at the Barmouth beach, near Castlerock for the last five years… a favourite place to sketch with curlews and gulls on the shoreline, wind in the dunes, bleached stretches of water overhung with a changing dominant sky and the salty seaweed smells at low tide.

I was a wildcard on Sky Arts Landscape Artist of The Year 2021, and 2022, and enjoyed having a chat about colour with the brilliant painter and judge Tai Shan Schierenberg, (above).
