Waves rush in, catching us by surprise, sea spray cold on our faces. The strong colours on my palette surprise me, sea greens, ochre pinks , dark turquoise blues, a rich earthy palette on a sunlit January afternoon
This new painting is painted back in the studio after a trip to Whiterocks beach along the north coast, on a late January afternoon. The canvas size is 50cm by 50cm and is set in a beautiful contemporary solid wood navy frame
