Bringing stems of freesia flowers and eucalyptus leaves into my studio for inspiration, filled my studio with wonderful aromas. Eucalyptus leaves have a wonderful scent that smells refreshing and cleansing. I wanted to try and bring this energy into my painting, by paring back the colour palette and detail, letting line and shape tell the story. This painting on a 50 by 40cm panel board is professionally framed with a bespoke deep edge painted frame, hand painted in a beautiful off white chalky colour.
