One of my new still life paintings from my Ordinary Things collection. Scented stems of freesia flowers and eucalyptus leaves filled my studio with their wonderful aromas. Eucalyptus leaves have a sweet cleansing scent that feels cleansing and pure. I wanted to bring this purity into my painting, paring back my colour palette and celebrating the essence of these natural things.
