Gerbera flowers are thought to be a symbol of happiness, brightness, and positive energy… I love their simplicity of form and childlike flower heads. I place them with a sweet bowl of plums against a scribbled soft pink background to bring a sense of playfulness and fun.
Oil pastel drawing on 300gm fine art paper. Framed using a bespoke pale wood, set behind non-reflective art glass. Bespoke trim with a special hand painted pale pink inlaid slip, giving a contemporary modern look.
